The June Daring Bakers' challenge was hosted by Jasmine of Confessions of a Cardamom Addict and Annemarie of Ambrosia and Nectar. They chose a Traditional (UK) Bakewell Tart... er... pudding that was inspired by a rich baking history dating back to the 1800's in England.
This tart/pudding consists of a sweet crust [made from scratch], a layer of fruit jam and on top of this the frangipane.
I used blueberry preserves and cherry preserves for the filling. I had this set of mini petit fours mold and this was the perfect oportunity to use them :)
